The wedding ceremony will start approximately at 4 pm and will be a hand fasting ceremony. Cocktail and lawn games hour will immediately follow the ceremony as the newly-weds sign papers to become officially married. Take that time to enjoy signature cocktails that represent us and our beloved cats (Bot and Arte), play some of the giant lawn games available, or go for a walk to explore all that the Luckiamute River and beautiful surrounding PNW forest has to offer, but be back at the main clearing by 5:45 to welcome us for the first time as a married couple.
Dinner will be buffet style, there will be vegan, gluten free, and nightshade free options. If you have other food allergies that are not covered by those above, please reach out via email or let us know when you RSVP. To see the full food and drink menu for the evening please click here.
let’s make it a weekend to remember
Our wedding and reception will be at The Chiappisi’s farm in Kings Valley Oregon on the Luckiamute River. “The Farm” used to be a large working pig farm owned and run by Jerry and Andy Chiappisi. Now The Farm is a favorite respite and retreat of the family.
While the main path & the ceremony/reception areas have been leveled and smoothed, the farm is still a mostly lush wild place, and it is a 7~10 minute walk from the car parking area to the ceremony/reception area. Please plan accordingly by wearing flat or sturdy shoes. There will also be a few smaller walking paths through the forest for those who want to explore, however those have not been leveled or smoothed, please only explore while wearing secure shoes and clothing that covers your legs.
We will have a shuttle from the car park to the Ceremony/Reception area, however it can only go so fast and has so many seat so please plan walk if you feel comfortable.
For those looking for a little outdoor adventure, camping will be available at the farm! Please note that there is no trash service at the farm so any camping must be pack out and low impact. Campers are welcome to come as early as Friday afternoon and stay until Sunday evening. There’s limited space so please let us know asap if you plan on camping via the RSVP.
FAQ
-
What should I wear?
Our dress code is 'whimsical garden party' and so we ask that you get a little creative and colorful with your semi-formal wedding attire. Think floral prints, polka dots, pinstripes, sunhats, sandals, linen trousers, Bermuda shorts, summer suits (jacket and tie optional).
when planning our wedding we were inspired by Midsummer Night’s Dream, Hayao Miyazaki’s Howl’s Moving Castle, and the story of Orpheus and Eurydice (the non tragic parts) and we encourage you to let that inspire you too. Don’t be afraid to dress a little more whimsical than you might normally, we will love it!! need inspirations? Click here
Please also be advised that while we have leveled and smoothed walking paths, and cleared plenty of room for dancing and celebrating, nothing is paved and we suggest you wear closed-toe/ sturdy flat shoes.

I'm Camping, is there a bathroom and shower I can use?
Be advised that there is no access to showers or flush toilets at the campsites on the Farm. because of this camping will be best suited to local folks who only intent to crash after the wedding, or serious campers who are prepared for low impact/ leave no trace camping.
